What We Believe

  1. The Bible – We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. It reveals God’s covenant with humanity and serves as our final authority for faith, doctrine, conduct, and correction. (2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 2:13)
  2. The Trinity – We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—co‑equal and co‑eternal. (Matthew 3:16–17; John 14:7–11; Philippians 2:6).
  3. Sin and the Fallen Nature of Humanity – We believe that all people share a fallen human nature and are separated from God because of sin. Only through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ can individuals receive forgiveness and be restored into right relationship with God. (Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12; 1 John 1:8–9).
  4. Salvation – We believe that salvation and eternal life come through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again. Salvation is received by believing in Him, confessing Him as Lord, and committing to follow Him. God’s salvation is available to all people. (John 3:16; Romans 10:8–10; Ephesians 2:8)
  5. The Return of Jesus Christ – We believe that Jesus Christ will return for His church. Believers who have died will be raised, and those who are alive will be transformed, and together we will meet the Lord in the air. (1 Thessalonians 4:15–18; 1 Corinthians 15:42–55)
  6. The Millennial Reign of ChristWe believe that after the tribulation, Jesus will return to reign on earth for a thousand years. Believers will reign with Him, and Satan will be bound during this period. (Revelation 20:1–4)
  7. The Reality of Hell – We believe that those who reject Jesus Christ will face eternal separation from God. Hell was prepared for Satan and his angels, but those who choose to reject God’s salvation will share in that judgment. (Matthew 5:22–30; Luke 16:19–24; Revelation 20:10)
  8. Eternity With God – We believe that those who place their faith in Jesus Christ will receive eternal life and will live forever in the presence of God. This hope of eternal fellowship with God strengthens our Christian faith and guides moral and spiritual living. (John 14:1–3; Revelation 21:1–4).
  9. Water Baptism – We believe in water baptism by immersion as an outward expression of an inward transformation. It symbolizes dying to the old life and rising to live a new life in Christ. (Matthew 3:13–17; Acts 2:38; Acts 8:35–38)
  10. Baptism in the Holy Spirit – We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is for believers today, empowering them for Christian living, prayer and service. In Scripture, this experience was often accompanied by speaking in tongues, and we believe this gift remains available today. (Matthew 3:11; Acts 1:4–8; Acts 2:1–18).
  11. Gifts of the Holy Spirit and the Supernatural – We believe that the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to believers for the strengthening of the church. These gifts operate alongside signs, wonders, and miracles as God wills. (1 Corinthians 12:1–11)
  12. Divine Healing – We believe that divine healing is provided through the atoning work of Christ. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, including sickness, and believers may receive healing through prayer, faith, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. This is without prejudice to medical science.(Isaiah 53:4–5; Matthew 8:16–17; Acts 10:38)
  13. Faith and Confession of God’s Word – We believe that genuine faith in God and His Word produces a transformed life. True faith is expressed through both words and actions, as believers grow daily in Christ and leave behind their old ways. (James 2:14–26; Matthew 7:13–27; Romans 12:2; Ephesians 5:1–16; 2 Peter 1:4–10).
  14. Giving and Financial Stewardship – We believe that God’s work is supported through tithes and offerings given willingly and cheerfully. Giving is an act of worship and partnership in the work of God’s Kingdom. (Genesis 14:18–20; Malachi 3:7–10; 2 Corinthians 9:6–11)
  15. Ministry Gifts and Kingdom Stewardship – We believe that Christ has given apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip the church and build up the Body of Christ. These ministries remain active today. (Ephesians 4:7–16). Equallywe believe that every believer has a God‑given role in the church. When each person serves in their place, the church functions effectively and the ministry of the Word can flourish. (Numbers 11:16–17; 1 Corinthians 12:28; Acts 6:1–7)
  16. Marriage and Sexual Relationship – We believe, according to Scripture, that God instituted marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24). As a church, we therefore conduct marriages only within this biblical understanding. We also believe that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage as defined in Scripture. These convictions guide our teaching and practice as part of our Christian faith. (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6; Hebrews 13:4; 1 Thessalonians 4:1–8)
  17. Christian Conduct and Lifestyle – We believe that ministers and believers should conduct themselves in accordance with the teachings of the Bible, demonstrating dignity, holiness, and integrity. Modesty, self‑control, and reverence for God should be evident in both appearance and lifestyle. We also believe that Christians should be law‑abiding and should abstain from alcohol abuse, drug misuse, and other social vices (1 Timothy 3:1–7; Titus 1:5–11; 1 Corinthians 6:19–20)..
